Yesterday, March 6, 2019 is the first time I’ve ever watched an entire Hockey game and the first time I’ve been able to see the Las Vegas Golden Knights in person. (Thanks Paul for the amazing tickets!!!) It’s remarkable to see how sports is playing a role in bringing Las Vegas together and the social and cultural impact it has. Not only is sports a huge boost to the local economy and ultimately the housing market it develops comradery and prevents anti-social behavior.
Last weekend we had what was dubbed the “Ultimate Sports Weekend.” There was the UFC, UNLV College basketball, Rugby Championships, Bull riding Championships, Nascar, and the Golden Knights played.
The emergence of sports alone is taking our city to another level. Going under the radar is the WNBA Las Vegas Aces, and our professional soccer team the Las Vegas Lights. The Las Vegas Aviators $150 million dollar Ball Park will be completed in April and Imagine this city when the Raiders $1.8 Billion dollar stadium is completed.
Let’s just say, real estate in Las Vegas is a wonderful asset!
